Dr Morgan's central research interest is in the communication and representation of environmental issues through theory and practice-based approaches. She has had papers on ecological topics published in respected journals such as Human Geography, Irish University Review and Progress in Planning. 

Dr Morgan is currently acting as PI on an EPA project entitled Sensing our world: How digital media cultural practices can contribute to changing social norms around consumption. The project is due to be completed in 2020.
