Nuclear Energy as a Potential Irish Decarbonisation Strategy - Webinar

Denis Duff presents a review of the case for & against large scale deployment of nuclear energy in Ireland as a decarbonisation strategy. This webinar will take place on November 21st, 11.30-13.00 GMT (approx).

Denis Duff is a Chartered Engineer with wide experience of a variety of electricity generating systems, including wind turbines and generators powered by fossil fuels (oil, gas and solid fuel). He now works independently in the energy sector both at home and abroad. In this webinar, Denis will present a wide-ranging review of the case for and against large scale deployment of nuclear energy in Ireland sometime within the next two decades, as a specific contribution to the (urgently needed) decarbonisation of our energy system.
